Urgent Care Nurse - Triage / Streamer / Assessment
Opportunity available for a Registered General Nurse to work within an Urgent Care Team, based in North West.
The team operates within an Urgent Care Centre (UCC), with the role primarily involving working as a Junior Practitioner within the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC). You will undertake assessments of a range of health and clinical needs of patients within your scope of competence, using clinical practice skills and your own clinical judgment to diagnose, refer, or discharge patients.
You will participate in educational activities to enhance your clinical knowledge and skills, with the aim of progressing to roles such as Emergency Clinical Practitioner or Advanced Clinical Practitioner. Your responsibilities include carrying out initial assessments, recording brief histories and observations, and signposting patients to appropriate healthcare services.
You will use your knowledge and experience to plan and deliver skilled, competent care to meet patients' health and social care needs, ensuring high-quality clinical care delivered in a timely manner.
Requirements: Must have a Level 6/7 Qualification.
The role operates on a shift rota, including days, long days, and nights.
