Job Description
NEW GROUND WON’T BREAK ITSELF.
Every day our teams help people in businesses and communities to do what is right and achieve their goals. In Real Estate Tax, we pride ourselves on helping transform our clients’ real estate into greater assets. We provide a diverse range of organisations with business and financial advice to facilitate this. Our ideas and insights empower clients to make significant decisions about the future and unlock sustainable growth. We focus on quality and integrity to help businesses, communities, and our people flourish.
We advise real estate funds, global institutional investors, REITs, private investors, and the public sector on investment into UK and pan-European real estate, providing tax structuring, compliance, and due diligence advice across sectors including commercial, office, student housing, industrial logistics, retail, and hotels.
We support flexible working arrangements, including reduced hours and job shares, to help balance work and life.
A look into the role
As an Assistant Manager in our Real Estate Tax (RET) team, you will:
* Be part of a high-performing team with extensive sector experience. You will have opportunities to work with high-profile clients on challenging projects.
* Work on significant transactions across real estate and infrastructure, with deal sizes ranging from £60m to over £1bn. There are ample opportunities for rapid promotion.
* Own your work, lead client engagements, and collaborate with tax colleagues, supported by Partners and Directors.
Knowing you’re right for us
The minimum criteria for joining as an Assistant Manager in RET are:
* ACA / ACCA / CTA qualification or equivalent
* UK Tax experience
Preferred but not essential skills include experience in the UK Corporate Tax market, participation in business development, and tax compliance advising on ongoing requirements.
Knowing we’re right for you
We cultivate an inclusive culture that values diversity and respects colleagues, enabling everyone to perform at their best and realize their potential.
Our open culture encourages interaction with leaders who value your contributions. We support bringing your whole self to work and pursuing passions outside of work.
Beyond the job
We recognize life outside work is important. We offer flexible working options to help maintain work-life balance.
The impact you make extends beyond your day job, including secondments, charity fundraising, and supporting entrepreneurs globally. Our values—purposefully driven, curious, candid, and kind—guide us.
We seek individuals eager to contribute, innovate, and do right by our firm, clients, and community. That’s how it should be.
