We’re working with a growing, forward-thinking consultancy in Derby that’s building a reputation for quality work and developing young engineers properly. This is a place where you’ll be supported, challenged, and given the chance to progress quickly.
What you’ll be doing
* Assisting in the design of structural elements across a range of projects
* Working on residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments
* Producing calculations, drawings, and technical reports
* Learning directly from experienced engineers and senior staff
* Getting exposure to site visits and real-world project delivery
What we’re looking for
* Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* A genuine interest in structural design
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Familiarity with AutoCAD (or similar) is a bonus
* Ambition to work towards chartership (IStructE/ICE)
