Job Overview: McDermott is a leading engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) company focused on executing complex oil and gas projects on a worldwide scale. This position is be based in the business unit office in Feltham. Essential Qualifications and Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (Civil, Mechanical, Ocean, Naval Architecture. Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Engineering or Construction environment Minimum of 2 offshore installation projects executed (inclusive of office based work as well as vessel based activities). Pipelay background is preferred but not essential. Does not have financial accountability but is expected to have significant exposure to the financial aspects, factoring it as much as possible into his decision-making process. Understands and promotes McDermott's HSES Standards LI-HYBRID LI-SJ1 Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Assists in preparation of: Project Execution Plan (PEP) Subcontractors and suppliers Scope of Works Weekly progress reports Offshore Installation Procedures Project Meeting Minutes MOCs (Management of Change) Monitors/expedites: Offshore installation Procedures and associated calculations and drawings approval Delivery of materials and equipment required for the execution of the offshore installation activities (with Procurement Coordinator) Interfaces with Engineering as necessary to ensure readiness of engineering deliverables on time for the start of the installation campaign Daily progress with Production and Offshore Field Engineers Client Free Issue material Use and development of Lessons Learned Ensures: Offshore installation activities are carried out work in accordance with engineering details, procedures and specifications Offshore installation procedures and methodologies are in line with project standards and specifications Conduit for cross-functional information and data for: Integrated Project Schedule QC Plan (with QA Coordinator and inspector) Technical queries within project disciplines and between project/ suppliers Support: The offshore installation campaign by rotating on the installation vessels during the offshore campaign as required Any other activity required in readiness of the installation campaign (FAT's, SITs, vessel mobilisation, subcontractor's site visits) by travelling to site and representing the project when liaising with key stakeholders
