About the role
An opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Assistant to join the Medium Engine Business based at our facility in Kirkhill, Dyce. The successful candidate will provide assistance to the Business Unit with administrative, commercial and secretarial support, and provide reception cover for on-site visitors and telephone enquiries.

An overview of your day
* Deliver proactive, high quality administrative support to the Business Unit Manager and wider team
* Manage correspondence and queries efficiently, ensuring smooth day to day operations
* Step in at reception to create a positive first impression for visitors and handle incoming calls professionally
* Maintain and update internal communication platforms to keep information flowing
* Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and produce clear, accurate minutes
* Organise domestic and international travel with attention to detail
* Gather, update, and report on Business Unit KPIs to support performance monitoring
* Support Sales and Repair of Spares enquiries, preparing quotations and identifying opportunities to upsell and optimise costs
* Assist Estimator and Project Engineers with quotations, invoicing, and financial reviews of completed contracts
* Contribute to the creation of presentations, tenders, and marketing materials
* Manage Maximo system tasks, including raising orders, conducting contract reviews, and overseeing order closure
* Provide flexible support to Project and Materials Engineers as needed
* Build strong working relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers
* Maintain exceptional organisation to meet business, customer, and stakeholder expectations
