What the Job Involves This role requires you to provide an efficient and streamlined service to customers of West Lancashire Borough Council, acting as the first point of contact for all service enquiries. Your responsibilities include handling queries via telephone from the Contact Centre in Ormskirk and face-to-face from the Customer Service Points in Skelmersdale and Ormskirk. You will need to interpret customer queries, provide timely solutions, and liaise with council staff and external agencies to ensure effective problem resolution. Note that this role requires office working five days a week, with no option for hybrid working. A standard DBS and three years of references are required.
