Finance Analyst– Temporary Central Manchester £33 - £35K Immediate Start My client is a well-regarded business and currently looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to support the Director of Finance in financial reporting, ensuring the integrity of financial data, and enhancing the quality and usability of financial information. You must have proven experience in a similar role and be able to hit the ground running. Key responsibilities required for the Finance Analyst include; * Develop and document processes for monthly cash flow and balance sheet reporting, using the TechOne Finance system. * Produce reports for Executive and Board meetings * Develop and document processes for monthly capital spend reporting * Working with the Director of Finance (MI) to provide accurate and meaningful financial reporting and support to budget holders. * Support other members of the Finance team during peak workloads (such as year-end) as required * Prepare monthly reports highlighting significant variances and events for the Director of Finance. * Support budgeting and forecasting for operational areas. Key skills required for the Finance Analyst include; * Experience within the education sector would be advantageous. * Experience of TechOne or similar Finance systems report writing and data extraction * MS Excel advanced, including pivot tables, data manipulation, charts * Experience of Financial forecasting of cash flow and balance sheet * Ability to prepare management information and audit-standard reports. * Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. * Strong communication skills, especially in presenting financial data to non-finance colleagues. * Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
