Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join a small, collaborative accounts team. This is a hands on role focusing on invoicing, client and supplier payments, bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. Duties
Assist with processing invoices, payments, and expense claims accurately and promptly
Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
Facilitating insurance programme invoicing and documentation across the property portfolio
Maintain organised records of financial transactions and documentation
Supporting compliance with client money regulations and internal controls
Reconcile accounts and ensure data accuracy across various financial systems
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal departments regarding financial queries
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as required
Contribute to ensuring compliance with organisational policies and relevant regulations
Skills
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Good numerical ability and proficiency in basic arithmetic calculations
Familiarity with financial software or spreadsheets (e.g., Excel) is desirable
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Prior experience in finance or administration is a plus but not mandatory
A proactive attitude with the willingness to learn new skills and processes
