Estimator Job Location: Wimborne, Dorset Job Type: Permanent Salary: Excellent starting salary depending on level of experience Hours: 38.75 hours per week, 7.45am – 5pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 7.45am – 12.45pm A well-known manufacturing company that supplies many industry sectors including electronics, medical, telecommunications & retail are seeking to recruit an Estimator to join their team. They have a strong reputation with our existing client base which has been built around offering design support, quality products, and high levels of customer service. The successful candidate will need to be a highly motivated individual who has previous estimating experience, with a background in sheet metal to join our team. Your focus will be to work within the team collaboratively with the production team working on new & existing sheet metal engineering quotations and projects. Main duties: * To prepare costings based on engineering/technical drawings, for a varied product line. * Prepare customer estimates * Analyse new and existing jobs, working towards the betterment of the engineering processes being used. * You will be required to liaise with customers on occasion, providing a confident level of technical support, advising on best practices and capabilities. * Liaise with supporting departments, providing technical and administrative duties to improve the sheet metal processes and i...
