Starting in 2026, the two-year scheme will see the successful applicants undertake four six-month placements across a number of key disciplines, in different UK locations. The scheme will provide the successful graduate a chance to cover a diverse range of areas fundamental to understanding successful Engineering roles within Boeing. We put an emphasis on learning in the workplace with live projects, working across multiple teams and location, supported by theoretical learning and support from colleagues and the Early Careers team.
Rotations
* Technical/Testing Services: Aircraft Modification Team – compiling engineering accomplishment documentation, drawings and instructions for continued airworthiness.
* Experimentation and Analysis: state-of-the-art modelling, simulation and analysis facility; supports defence and security domains and BDUK programmes.
* Training Engineering: supports training solutions to operate and maintain Boeing aircraft; uses training equipment, simulators and courseware.
* Structures and Build: leverage technical knowledge to provide safe, reliable solutions.
* Systems Engineering: collaborate across engineering to deliver products through lifecycle.
* Mission Systems: quantitative and qualitative product analysis using model-based techniques.
* Service Engineering: on-site technical support and maintenance for platform components.
* Support Engineering: work with Technical Data Exploitation Team supporting Chinook; evidence-based reporting.
* Mission Assurance: ensure safety and airworthiness; environmental engineering considerations.
* Quality Engineering: promote best practices across Engineering in BDUK.
* Industrial Engineering: optimize processes to improve efficiency across facilities, equipment and personnel.

Essential Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
* Right to work in UK - We do not sponsor visa status or renewals during employment
* Studying a degree course or graduated within last 2 years
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
* Degree in aeronautical, mechanical, electrical engineering or similar
* Confidence or willingness to present and host meetings
* Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication
* Forward-thinking and self-motivated
* Effective communication skills
