<div><h3>Senior Glazing / Curtain Wall Designer</h3><p>Location: Warrington (Hybrid Working)</p><p>Salary: £55,000 - £65,000</p><h3>About the Role</h3><p>We are working with our client, a specialist contractor within the glazing and façade sector, who are seeking an experienced Senior Glazing / Curtain Wall Designer to join their Warrington-based team.</p><p>This is a key technical and leadership role, where you will be responsible for overseeing the design delivery of curtain walling and glazing projects, while also leading and mentoring a small team of designers.</p><p>The role offers hybrid working and the opportunity to take ownership of multiple live projects, ensuring high-quality, coordinated, and buildable design solutions are delivered to programme.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead the design of curtain walling, glazing, windows, and door systems across multiple projects</li><li>Manage and mentor a small team of glazing and curtain wall designers</li><li>Produce, review, and approve detailed design drawings and technical submissions</li><li>Ensure all designs are compliant, coordinated, and aligned with project requirements</li><li>Liaise closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to support delivery</li><li>Resolve technical design challenges throughout the project lifecycleCoordinate with architects, consultants, and main contractors</li><li>Support value engineering and design optimisation initiatives</li><li>Manage design programmes and ensure deadlines are consistently met</li><li>Maintain high standards of technical accuracy and buildability</li></ul><h3>Key Requirements</h3><ul><li>Proven experience as a Senior Glazing / Curtain Wall Designer</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of aluminium glazing systems and façade construction</li><li>Experience leading or mentoring design teams is essential</li><li>Strong understanding of curtain walling and glazing installation processes</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD (and other relevant design software advantageous)</li><li>Experience working on commercial façade projects</li><li>Strong communication and coordination skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously</li></ul><h3>Whats on Offer</h3><ul><li>Salary £55,000 - £65,000</li><li>Hybrid working from Warrington</li><li>Opportunity to lead a small design team</li><li>Strong pipeline of glazing and curtain walling projects</li><li>Career progression within a growing specialist contractor</li><li>Supportive and collaborative working environment</li></ul></div>
