You will be a technical leader and a mentor, playing a pivotal role in shaping our product vision and technical direction while driving the delivery of high-quality, well-designed, and user-friendly applications. You will make significant contributions to our technology stack and best practices, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.The RoleAs a Senior/Staff Product Engineer, you will be a hands-on technical leader with a balance of frontend and backend responsibilities. Your experience will cover:Technical Leader & Mentor: Passionate about mentoring and elevating the technical capabilities of the team. You will act as a technical mentor to other engineers, sharing your expertise and guiding them in best practices for design, development, and support of full-stack solutionsStrategic & Tactical: Balancing big-picture vision with hands-on executionAction-oriented and eager to take ownership of projects and initiativesDriving Technical Strategy: Contributing significantly to team discussions, helping solve complex technical challenges, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve our technology stack and engineering practices. You will influence our technical roadmap and architectural decisions, bringing innovative solutions and staying at the forefront of modern full-stack technologies and frameworksProduct Ownership: Taking a leading role in designing, developing, and supporting impactful projects, ensuring seamless user experiences with observability baked in. You will champion a strong product mindset with a keen eye for user experience and system designPassionate about code quality, maintainability, observability and best practices across the platformProactive and collaborative approach to problem-solvingAble to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team membersComfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, balancing speed and quality while demonstrating an action-oriented approach and a strong desire for ownership to deliver high-quality solutions efficientlyEnthusiastic about working with modern full-stack technologies and frameworksA team player who fosters effective collaboration between engineering teams and stakeholders. You will ensure alignment and seamless handoffsLeveraging current and new AI solutions to streamline operations and maximise output, staying at the forefront of changes in AI tools to enhance your role and productivity, while upskilling others in their useWhat You’ll Bring To The TeamDemonstrated experience in mentoring engineers of all levelsExperience leading technical initiatives and contributing to architectural decisionsExtensive experience working across the full stack, including frontend, backend, and the data layerDeep proficiency with modern frontend technologies, including React and TypeScript.
