Principal Role
The Sherborne Schools Group(SSG)is seeking acommitted Examinations Access Arrangements Lead to provide support for pupils in the senior schools (Year 7 to13).The primary focus of the role is at an operational level across both Sherborne Girls and Sherborne Boys,though we would consider splitting the role (2x 0.5) with each part-time role focused on the EAAs in just on school.
The EAA Lead works closely with colleagues to ensure that allappropriate examaccess arrangements for public and internal examination are in place.In addition, the role involves ensuring that the Sherborne Group Schools’record‑keeping and practice is fully compliant with examinationboard and JCQ regulations.The successful candidate willbe expected toconduct exam access arrangement assessments and must, therefore, have the qualifications to support this.
This roleprovidesan exciting opportunityforsomeonewho wants toplay an importantpartin supportingindividualpupils at both senior schoolsduringa timewhenSSG isdeveloping its future vision. There is considerable scope for this role to developover time and would suit an ambitious individual.There is scope for part of the role undertaken remotely, although the EAA Lead will be expected to be in school at least one day per week.
