Job Description Summary GE Vernova would like to recruit a SAP Engineer to work from our Lisburn office (hybrid). Become part of a winning team and help to deliver the Green Energy transition. As the successful candidate you will follow these practices: Entry and update of Engineering BOMs into the SAP system. Facilitate and support Engineering BOM authorisation and change control process. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Configuration Management and BOM efficiencies. Support Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Planning, and Logistics to identify and resolve product configuration control issues. Collaboration with Finance, Procurement, and Sourcing in determining and maintaining standard costs. Annual cost update of materials and finished products. Collaboration with other functions in developing bespoke SAP reports and solutions. Job Description Responsibilities: - Create and maintain Engineering Bill of Materials (BOM) in alignment with Engineering. - Create and maintain costings for Bills of Materials. - Develop and maintain bespoke SAP reports. - Maintenance and update of standard costs. Core Competencies: - Proficient user of SAP system. - Ability to interpret engineering drawings. - Experience with Engineering BOM and Manufacturing BOM comparison and routings. - Component set up. - Configuration Management expertise. Education and Work Experience: - HNC, HND or Bachelor's Degree in a technical field preferred. - Demonstrable experience in an engineering / manufacturing environment with Configuration Management and BOM accountability. Skills: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). - Experience using MRP or ERP systems. - Motivation to learn and improve processes and procedures. - Self-confidence and demonstrated ability to influence peers. - Advanced attention to detail. - ADVANCED EXCEL SKILLS HIGHLY PREFERRED: This includes proficiency in VBA, VLOOKUPs, filtering, conditional formatting, charts, etc. - Good general knowledge of business processes / practices.
