The Field Support Technician Team Leader is responsible for leading and coordinating a small team of Field Support Technicians to deliver high‑quality, on‑site and remote IT support across the organisation. The role combines people leadership, technical oversight, and operational management to ensure reliable service delivery, effective incident resolution, and continual improvement of IT support services.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Proven experience in a Field Support / Desktop Support role within an IT Operations environment.
* Demonstrable experience leading or mentoring technical support staff.
* Strong working knowledge of:
o Windows desktop operating systems
o Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools
o Active Directory / Entra ID user and device management
o Hardware break‑fix and endpoint management
* Excellent customer service, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Desirable Skills Include
* ITIL Foundation or equivalent service management experience.
* Experience supporting distributed or multi‑site environments.
* Familiarity with endpoint management tools (e.g. Intune, SCCM, RMM platforms).
* Exposure to project delivery, office moves, or large‑scale deployments.

Salary
This role offers a competitive salary, dependent on experience. We operate a reward strategy based on our team members receiving a salary that best reflects their experience and skill level.
Hours of work
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm. On occasion you may be required to work evenings and weekends during busy periods to meet the demands of the business.
Annual leave
Our holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum (plus bank holidays and statutory public holidays).
