We are recruiting for an experienced AC & DC Motor Engineer to join our amazing team in Bristol. The role will include fitting and assembling, balancing and testing newly built motors as well as repairs for commercial and defence applications.
* Time served or demonstrably experienced in assembling and repairing AC & DC motors
* Experience in reading technical drawings and engineering specs
* Balance rotors to ensure optimal performance and reliability
* Conduct testing and quality checks on completed units
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on a range of motors
* Work on equipment used in both commercial and defence applications
Additional skills
* Be a paragon of health and safety and responsible for following processes to deliver a quality product
* Be a creative team player, able to work autonomously on your own as well as with a multidisciplinary team of electrical, mechanical and project professionals
* Exemplify problem solving and time management
* BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering would be desirable but not essential
