A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly capable HR Advisor to join our fast paced, dynamic OD & HR team on a two year fixed term contract.
As HR Advisor you will provide professional advice to support Council Directorates on all aspects of HR and people management to ensure that employees are managed in a fair and consistent way.
You will have fundamental knowledge and experience of supporting the breadth of employee relations casework and effective management of your own workload. You will be able to demonstrate influencing and negotiation skills and an understanding of up-to-date employment legislation and best practice people management.
We have launched our 2025-2029 People Strategy and you will work collaboratively across the OD & HR service to support the delivery of this strategy throughout the organisation, enhancing our colleague experience and further embed our ‘One Council’ approach.
