Test Technician - Aerospace Sector Location: Titchfield, Hampshire Contract Type: Ongoing, Initially until June 2026 with likelihood of extension. Shift Patterns: Early Shift: 06:00-14:00 (Mon-Thu), 06:00-13:30 (Fri) Late Shift: 14:00-23:45 (Mon-Thu only)Position Overview We're seeking skilled Test Technicians to join a leading aerospace engineering company based in Titchfield. In this hands-on role, you'll be working with mechanical valve systems, conducting rigorous pressure and fuel rig testing to verify safety, performance, and quality standards. Key Duties Conduct functional testing of mechanical valves on pressure and fuel rigs. Identify and report internal and external leaks. Verify torque values and pressure flow rates. Perform shimming and adjustment to achieve correct cracking pressure. Interpret technical drawings and written test procedures accurately. Work within DESAR protocols and maintain high standards through 5S/TPM practices. Use and update non-conformance databases where necessary. Candidate Requirements Proven experience using pressure and fuel testing rigs. Competence in leak detection, torque setting, and pressure calibration. Knowledge of DESAR procedures and aerospace testing standards. Familiarity with 5S and TPM continuous improvement methodologies. Able to read engineering drawings and technical documents with precision. Previous experience in aerospace or a similarly regulated industry is highly desirable.
