Job Description
We are looking to recruit a Summariser/Typist to join our expanding team. We are looking for 20 Hours days and times to be agreed. Flexibility to cover additional hours for holidays and sickness is essential. We are looking for the right candidate who will fit into our busy practice. The successful candidate would need excellent communication and keyboard skills and the ability to respond to varying demands and changing circumstances as the practice develops.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
* Summarising patient records
* Registration of patients and dealing with queries
* Typing referrals/letters
* Liaising with other agencies and departments regarding referrals
* Dealing with email enquiries and face to face enquiries
* Scanning, filing and all notes and patient record keeping
* Scheduling appointments for patients
* Updating the surgeries computer system with appointments and personal details
Training will be given, however, previous experience is desired especially in a medical field.
