Electrical Estimator / Tendering Engineer - Up to £50,000 + Package - Hybrid Working- Birmingham / Multi-Site

Rowles Recruitment is proud to be supporting a well-established, privately owned engineering and infrastructure contractor with over 25 years of experience delivering specialist electrical and civil projects across the UK.
This is a business where leadership is visible, decisions are made quickly, and people are trusted to take ownership of their work.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an Electrical Estimator / Tendering Engineer to support the preparation of accurate, commercially competitive tenders across a range of electrical infrastructure schemes.
The Role
You will play a key role in the tendering and pre-construction process, working closely with operational, commercial and design teams to develop competitive project submissions.
Key responsibilities include:
• Preparing detailed electrical cost estimates and tender submissions
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and client documentation
• Liaising with design, commercial and operational teams to develop accurate proposals
• Supporting the full tender lifecycle from enquiry through to submission
• Ensuring estimates are technically robust and commercially competitive
• Managing multiple tender opportunities and submission deadlines
What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience in electrical estimating or tendering
• Experience within infrastructure, utilities, energy or construction sectors
• Knowledge of 11kV electrical schemes (advantageous but not essential)
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
Salary & Package
• Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience
• Car allowance

• 40-hour week with hybrid flexibility
• Working pattern typically 8:30am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday
• Flexible working between office, home and site visits
