Overview
We’re looking for a Marketing Executive in our Academic division to market textbooks and digital courses across various subject areas, supporting their adoption by higher education lecturers worldwide.
About The Role
You’ll report into the Global Marketing Manager, Higher Education, and will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the success of our products and services in an area of key focus for the company.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Higher Education sales team, helping to contribute market expertise and coordinate marketing activities supporting adoptions of print and digital products globally.
* Own a global lead on key titles within specific subjects and develop marketing content, plans, and resources for use by sales colleagues.
* Coordinate the full marketing mix, including social media, email campaigns, and creating multimedia promotional materials.
* Collaborate with colleagues and authors worldwide as a central part of the role.
Qualifications
* Experience in a marketing and/or customer solutions role, looking to take the next step in your career.
* Solid understanding of marketing principles and capability to implement targeted and measurable marketing campaigns, from planning and creative stages through to launch and reporting.
* Experience with software and applications that support customer journey marketing, automation tools (including AMPscript), e‑commerce, analytics, and artificial intelligence is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with numerous teams across the business, including international offices.
* Analytical, solutions‑oriented with a good grasp of market research to inform new product development.
* Commercial background and experience with Salesforce CRM and digital products is advantageous.
* Commitment to working as part of a small and collaborative team and ability to adapt to quickly evolving market requirements.

We are a hybrid working organisation and offer a range of flexible working options from day one.
