Sales Engineer
Location: Cheshire
£27,500 - £30,000 plus annual company performance bonus, private healthcare, pension and 30 days holiday inclusive of statutory days.
Are you a driven technical sales professional with a passion for delivering smart, cost-effective solutions? We’re looking for a Sales Engineer to join a dynamic team representing a UK market-leading manufacturer of pumps and pumping systems. You’ll provide innovative products and services across a wide range of industries and applications.
Role Overview
In this office-based role, you’ll provide expert guidance and tailored solutions for the management of:
Foul water
Grey water
Effluents
Surface and storm waters
You will work closely with clients, construction teams, architects, and consultants to help size and select the most suitable pumping station systems for projects where gravity access to sewers isn’t possible.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
Provide technical support and product recommendations based on application requirements.
Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and presentations.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and technical developments.
Knowledge
Understanding of pumps, pumping solutions, pipework, and fluid handling systems.
Knowledge of pressure pipe systems, fittings, and general engineering principles.
Qualifications
Engineering qualification (ONC, HNC, BEng, or equivalent).
Computer literate (Microsoft Office) and experience using CRM systems.
Good standard of English and Maths.

Ability to work flexibly and manage own workload.
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
Team player with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.

Self-motivated with a proactive “can-do” attitude.
Confident in handling technical enquiries.
