Seasonal Retail Sales Assistant role at The Works Stores Ltd. Fixed term contract ending on 31 December 2025. 4 hour contract. Opportunities may exist to move to a permanent role after the initial festive contract.
Join as part of our seasonal team during the holiday period to welcome customers and help inspire them to read, learn, create or play.
Responsibilities
* Excite and Delight: provide friendly service and inspire customers to engage with our products.
* Loyalty Ambassador: assist customers in planning a well-spent Christmas and highlight value at The Works.
* Merchandising: follow planograms for key product areas and use creativity in non-planogrammed spaces to attract attention.
* Deliveries: assist with managing deliveries, price and label products, stock displays, and maintain an organized stockroom.
* Have fun and be authentic while connecting with customers and colleagues; help make the store a welcoming, festive environment.
What you’ll need to succeed
* Genuine and authentic: positive attitude, creativity, and passion for our brand; enjoy talking to people and recommending products.
* Resilient and adaptable: able to handle a fast-paced retail environment, multitask, and manage busy periods and deliveries.
* Stock management: able to sort, price, and merchandise deliveries effectively.
