Account ManagerLuton | Up to £60,000 per annum We are seeking an experienced and credible Account Manager to lead a high‑profile Total Facilities Management (TFM) contract based in Luton. The contract covers a broad range of services, including cleaning, security, catering and hard services, and plays a critical role in delivering a seamless workplace experience for our client.This is a highly visible, client‑facing position and would suit someone who brings confidence, personality and strong leadership to everything they do. An interest in food and service culture will be a real advantage.The RoleAs Account Manager, you will hold full responsibility for the day‑to‑day performance of the contract, ensuring services are delivered safely, compliantly and to a high standard, while maintaining a strong and trusted relationship with the client.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide overall leadership of the TFM contract, covering hard and soft FM servicesAct as the primary client contact, building effective relationships and managing escalations professionallyOversee performance against KPIs and SLAs, ensuring consistent delivery and continuous improvementLead, engage and develop on‑site teams and subcontractors, creating a positive and high‑performing cultureEnsure full compliance with health & safety, statutory and contractual requirementsManage financial performance, including budgets, forecasting and cost controlPrepare and present performance reports and attend regular client review meetingsProactively identify opportunities for service enhancement, innovation and added valueAbout YouProven experience managing a cleaning and security contract within a facilities management environmentExperience of working on TFM contracts, with exposure to catering and hard services highly desirableSeveral years' experience in an Account Manager or similar senior operational roleConfident and credible in a client‑facing position, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong people manager with the ability to motivate, support and challenge teams effectivelyCommercially aware, with experience managing budgets and P&L accountabilitySolid understanding of health & safety and compliance standardsAn interest in food and service delivery, with a genuine focus on quality and customer experienceRelevant FM or technical qualifications (IOSH, NEBOSH, IWFM or similar) are desirableWhat We're Looking ForAbove all, we're looking for someone with character, confidence and presence — a visible leader who enjoys working with people, takes ownership of their contract and is committed to delivering an excellent service for both clients and colleagues.Compass Group UK&I is committed to fostering an environment where every individual can truly be themselves at work and has equal opportunities to advance in their careers.
