Rookery Nook is a Salvation Army Lifehouse and has 11 rooms accommodating men and women over the age of 18 who are experiencing homelessness.
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Cleaner to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
As someone committed to providing a high-quality environment for our clients, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our clients can thrive in. You will be carrying out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins, and cleaning void rooms.
The successful candidate(s)will be able to demonstrate:
1. Ability to work as part of a staff team to ensure any health and safety issues are addressed by on site staff.
2. Awareness of Health and Safety Regulations.
3. Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise.
4. Ability to respect Confidentiality in line with policy.
5. Ability to keep all appropriate paperwork evidencing tasks completed to support the services provided at the Lifehouse.
6. All areas of your schedule are completed as required.
7. All checklists are signed off as required.
8. Good time keeping and smart appearance.
9. Willingness to undertake any training as deemed necessary.
10. Ability to adhere to COSHH regulations, ensuring the correct use and storage of cleaning substances and materials.
11. A can do and non-judgemental attitude.
