This 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity offers the chance to make a real impact in the life of a child with additional needs, while gaining valuable experience in a supportive school setting.
Who We’re Looking For:
1. Graduate with a 2:1 degree or above (preferred)
2. Previous child-related experience, ideally with SEN
3. Aspiring Educational Psychologists, Teachers, Counsellors, or Therapists
4. Confident with behaviour management strategies
5. Strong team player with a proactive, “can-do” attitude
6. Passionate about inclusive education and supporting pupils with additional needs
7. Reliable, hardworking, and professional
8. Positive and empathetic personality
Role Details – 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant:
9. Provide 1:1 SEN support in and out of the classroom
10. Roles available in KS1 and KS2
11. Work closely with the SENCo
12. Track academic and social development
13. Deliver small group interventions weekly
14. Full-time role starting in September
15. Long-term contract for the academic year (potential to extend)
16. £90 – £105 per day
17. Based in Enfield
