We are currently recruiting a Violence Reduction Officer on a permanent basis to support the security team and work closely with the police to investigate crimes committed against UHBW employees.
They are to ensure that all investigations into incidents of violence are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner and to work in partnership with the police to aid investigation into crimes committed against UHBW employees. This will include sensitive and emotive topics including crimes against the person.
This role is predominantly desk based with an expectation for site visits and face to face meetings when required.
This role is currently subject to banding.
Main duties of the job
Your duties will include:
* Collaboratively engage with Policing, Wellbeing and other support mechanisms internal and external to the Trust
* Manage compliance against statutory and NHS standards relating to security investigations and victim support
* Support the delivery of the Care Quality Commission objectives to reduce violence and aggression directed towards UHBW staff, patients and visitors
* Identify and save CCTV and Bodycam footage
* Identify subsequent training requirements for security staff and managers.
* Provide specialist guidance to UHBW managers regarding violence reduction, victim support and investigations.
