Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with local functions, APQP Manager, and other sites efficiently and proactively seek best practices and process innovations.
2. Lead and coordinate problem-solving activities, ensuring timely actions and assessing corrective effectiveness using tools like plan-do-check-act, Ishikawa, 5-why, 8D, etc.
3. Understand customer needs, specifications, and expectations as defined by Customer Technical Services.
4. Ensure all product specifications are clearly understood.
5. Support continuous improvement of processes and products to meet customer requirements.
6. Develop quality control plans for main product families, align with other site plans, and ensure understanding and implementation through training.
7. Maintain connection with ECRs impacting products and processes, leading teams to implement changes successfully.
8. Manage product introduction processes, ensuring quality systems and controls are defined and effective, including qualification and SAT approval.
9. Ensure the facility has necessary equipment for metrology needs and future requirements are clear.
10. Coordinate with Group Metrology to follow and respect group processes and procedures.
11. Define and communicate daily routine measurements effectively to production.
12. Progress with the MAS project based on product priority and risk.
13. Complete calibration activities.
14. Support internal audits, validations, PFMEA, metrology, document control, and deviation control.
15. Apply structured approaches like plan-do-check-act for issue resolution.
16. Use defined tools such as Ishikawa, 5-why, and 8D for communication and problem-solving.
Your Profile
* Knowledge of QMS requirements, including international standards and BRC where necessary.
* Understanding of quality disciplines, including costs of quality, monitoring, tools & techniques, and statistical analysis.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Good command of English language communication skills.
* Ability to manage change and embrace new practices.
* High integrity, respect for diversity, and team-oriented mindset.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan, define roles, and facilitate change.
* Collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
* Experience in internal/external audits.
* Bachelor’s degree in a natural science or equivalent experience in relevant fields.
