We are seeking experienced and dedicated Consultant Neurosurgeons to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on general neurosurgical procedures, including spinal dissections and fusions, with no requirement to manage complex cranial or neurovascular cases. The successful candidates will contribute to high-quality patient care across multiple clinics and surgical lists daily.
Responsibilities
* Conduct 3-4 clinics or surgical lists per day, maintaining efficiency and quality of care.
* Manage a caseload of 18-20 patients per clinic/list, ensuring timely and effective treatment.
* Perform general neurosurgical procedures such as:
o Spinal dissections
o Spinal fusions
o Other routine neurosurgical interventions
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
* Participate in departmental meetings, audits, and clinical governance activities.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with Trust policies.

Qualifications
* Full registration with the GMC and inclusion on the Specialist Register.
* Must be substantive and Specialist Registered (SR)
