Job Description
We are currently working with a well-established organisation in Sussex that is looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join their finance team on a 6 month fixed term contract.
This role will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring outstanding balances are collected in a timely manner, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of customer accounts
* Chasing outstanding invoices via phone and email
* Allocating incoming payments and maintaining accurate records
* Resolving customer queries relating to invoices and payments
* Reviewing credit limits and monitoring aged debt
* Supporting the wider finance team with month-end processes
Person Specification
* Previous experience in Credit Control or Sales Ledger
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to manage workloads and prioritise effectively
* Good attention to detail and organisational skills
* Experience using finance systems and Excel
