Priory Hospital Solihullis looking to recruit a Staff Nurse RMN to join the team. We have a R&R 31 beds, males, 18+ and Community reablement Males, 18+.Must be a driver to drive the hospital care when needed. Mixture of day and night shifts, working weekdays and bank holidays. This is a fixed-term role of up to 12 months. This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours
Located in Meriden, Warwickshire, Priory Hospital Solihull is a 31-bedded hospital supporting the NHS by offering level 2 rehabilitation services for males.
What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients
* Deliver prescribed care to a defined group within an agreed framework.
* Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse.
* Accurately observe and engage with patients in order to assess their need and evaluate their progress.
* Monitor and review Nursing Care plans.
* Evaluate and respond to changes in patient’s condition and needs.

A qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with 6–12 months post-registration experience, holding active NMC registration and having completed a preceptorship programme. Possesses a sound knowledge of NMC guidelines, requirements, and professional practices, supported by evidence of post-registration continuing professional development. Demonstrates a positive attitude with a strong commitment to change, improvement, and quality, and is able to develop and apply flexible, innovative approaches to practice. Equipped with excellent verbal and written communication skills, alongside relevant professional experience
