Property Litigation Solicitor
Location: North Dorset
Salary: Up to £60,000 (DOE)
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (initial on-site expectation)
About the Role
A well-regarded regional law firm with deep roots across Dorset and the surrounding counties is looking to appoint a Property Litigation Solicitor to join its expanding Litigation Department. The firm has a strong reputation for contentious work, particularly in the areas of probate and property disputes, and offers a supportive, down-to-earth working environment with genuine long-term career prospects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor or someone with up to a few years' PQE to develop their expertise in a team where quality of work and client care come first. The role is based at one of the firm’s key offices in rural North Dorset, within easy reach of Wiltshire, Somerset, and South West Hampshire.
You will:
* Work on a varied caseload of property litigation matters, including boundary disputes, landlord and tenant matters, and co-ownership issues.
* Assist senior team members on complex cases and gradually take on more responsibility.
* Build strong relationships with clients and provide clear, pragmatic legal advice.
* Contribute to business development through networking and client-facing events.
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Be a qualified solicitor (NQ+) with experience in property litigation, gained during training or post-qualification.
* Have strong legal research and drafting skills, and an eagerness to build a long-term career in dispute resolution.
* Be personable, client-focused, and keen to contribute to the team’s growth.
What You’ll Get in Return
* Competitive salary of up to £60,000 (DOE).
* Hybrid working and a friendly, flexible team culture.
* Career development support and direct access to senior mentors.
* The chance to work in a scenic and relaxed part of the South West while handling high-quality work.
