Location: Omagh
Hours: 39 Hour Week. Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 3:45pm, Friday 7:00am – 1:00pm
Join our team at Terex Omagh and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek skilled and dedicated Quality Inspector to contribute to our Quality team.

As a Quality Inspector at Terex, based in Omagh, you'll play a pivotal role in helping produce equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.
What you’ll do:
Reporting to the PDI Supervisor the Inspector will be involved in a wide range of activities in relation to the inspection of mobile crushing machines to meet on-time deliveries in the most effective manner.
Duties include:
1. Actively addressing and raising quality concerns on a day-to-day basis
2. Final run and test of machines
3. Verification of machine settings and functionality with production team
4. Routine inspection of internally fabricated parts and sub assembly units before moving to main build
5. Inspection of final machine for dispatch in condition to meet customer needs.
6. PDI reports, meetings, and other associated paperwork
7. Control and issue of serial plates and manuals for final machine.
8. Responsibility to escalate any on-going issues.
9. Dispatch record data uploaded to pulse – engine, serial number, DR’s etc.
10. Supporting in quality investigations as required
11. Internal auditing
12. Showing dealers and suppliers around machines when required
13. Adhering to strict quality targets
14. Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement.
15. To maintain compliance to all Health and Safety Regulations
What you’ll bring:
Experience & Qualifications:
16. Experience in a quality/inspector role.
17. Electrical experience
18. Hydraulic experience
19. Basic computer skills
20. Good teamwork and communication skills
21. Good awareness of health and safety
22. Ability to create clear handwritten reports
23. Knowledge of Terex machines
24. Experience in continuous improvement.
