We are looking to appoint a locum Consultant Urologist on a fixed 12‑month term.
The post will be based at the Great Western Hospital.
The successful candidate will be proficient in core urology and may have a subspecialty interest. Experience with LATP biopsy is beneficial.
Responsibilities will include providing elective services such as outpatient clinics at Great Western and peripheral community hospitals, elective inpatient and day‑case operations, supporting the hospital's new care pathways, and participating in a 1:6 on‑call rota.
The team comprises five full‑time consultant urologists, two part‑time consultants, and additional support from an associate specialist and six clinical fellows/registrars.
Urologists are supported by an excellent anaesthesia and radiology department, including interventional radiology, weekly uro‑radiology X‑ray meetings, and a weekly MDT.
