Purchasing Assistant (Part-Time)

Hours: Up to 18 hours per week - Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (Flexible)
Salary: Pro-rata £28,000
Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive Purchasing Assistant to support production planning, material procurement, and supplier management within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchase Orders: Create and reconcile purchase orders with supplier invoices.
Invoice Processing: Process supplier invoices and accurately enter information into the ERP/MRP system.
Supplier Relations: Communicate and build relationships with suppliers, resolving any queries or payment issues.
Stock Monitoring: Monitor stock levels to ensure materials are available to meet production schedules and customer orders.
Supplier Appraisals: Support the supplier appraisal process and assist in conducting annual performance reviews.
