Lead Finance Manager

£55,000 to £65,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 5)

Location: Manchester/Scunthorpe (hybrid working - typically two to three days per week spent across our Manchester and Scunthorpe offices, with at least one day each week based in Scunthorpe)

Co-op Wholesale is growing, and we're looking for people who want to shape what comes next. As a Lead Finance Manager, you'll provide clear financial insight to help support teams across the business. We'll look to you to play a key role in helping us manage our resources effectively, supporting better decision-making, and contribute to our long-term success.

What You'll Do

Support the coordination of budgets and forecasts
Help manage the rolling forecast cycle and provide insight into performance
Contribute to monthly performance reviews and track key initiatives
Develop clear, insightful reporting to help teams understand and manage spend
Support alignment of financial plans with strategic goals
Provide ad-hoc analysis and support for senior stakeholders to challenge their thinking
Identify opportunities to improve and simplify finance processes
Collaborate with colleagues across the team and the wider business

What You'll Bring

A recognised financial qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent), or working towards one
Experience in financial planning, reporting, or business partnering
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Confidence in working with stakeholders and communicating financial insights
A collaborative approach and a willingness to learn and grow
Good Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems or planning tools
