Responsibilities
* Undertake a variety of welding and brazing operations required in the assembly of parts or sub-assemblies
* Carry out welding of aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel to industry-leading standards
* Set and operate spot welders, and perform deburring, polishing, and cleaning tasks on all welding and brazing work
* Support the maintenance team with welding work as required
* Contribute to proof of concept and other development welding activities
Qualifications
* Strong engineering background with experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Proficient in using measuring equipment, gas cutters, grinders, and Gas Tungsten Arc equipment
* Certified to BS EN:12797:2000 and AWSD17.1/D17.1M:2010-AMD1 standards
* Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
