The Role As a Consenting Lawyer, you will: Advise on major energy and infrastructure projects, providing legal support on planning applications, environmental assessments, and consenting processes. Work on high-profile Development Consent Orders and Transport and Works Act Orders. Handle matters involving the Planning Act 2008, Town and Country Planning Act 1990, compulsory acquisition and compensation, EIA/HRA, inquiries/examinations, and judicial review. Collaborate closely with Energy & Infrastructure specialists on nationally significant schemes. What We’re Looking For Ideally 4-8 years PQE with strong experience in planning, environmental, or infrastructure law. Background in a large regional or national practice preferred. Expertise in one or more of the following: Development Consent Orders, Transport and Works Act Orders, compulsory acquisition, environmental assessments, and judicial review.
