We're looking for a data professional who's passionate about building scalable people analytics solutions and empowering teams with insights that drive smarter, faster decision-making. In this role, you'll help shape the future of our People data ecosystem — designing robust data models, developing scalable ETL processes, and enabling self‑service analytics across the organisation. You'll play a key role in strengthening data literacy, championing data‑led thinking, and supporting a culture where informed decision‑making thrives. This is a 10‑month fixed‑term contract. The role is hybrid: three days a week in the office and two days from home.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement scalable data models and people analytics solutions
* Develop ETL processes and semantic models that power self‑service analytics
* Create predictive and prescriptive tools to support proactive decision‑making
* Streamline and automate workflows to enhance efficiency
* Partner with IT and Digital Services to build a future‑fit data architecture
* Implement data validation frameworks to ensure accuracy and consistency
* Champion data governance and standardise global data definitions
* Mentor colleagues and help grow data capability across the function
Qualifications & Experience
* Deep experience in ETL, integration, and transformation frameworks (including dbt)
* Strong knowledge of cloud‑based platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, or AWS
* Expertise in DAX, M, and SQL (Python or R is a bonus)
* Ability to design impactful, user‑friendly visualisations (Power BI experience preferred)
* Understanding of data protection, information governance, and IT architecture
* Awareness of HR processes and how they connect to finance, procurement, and wider business services would be beneficial
* Comfortable working in fast‑paced, agile, and sometimes ambiguous environments
* Experience in HR or related domains and knowledge of the software industry – highly desirable
