Job Summary Estimator / Quantity Surveyor/Assistant QS Hayling Island – Office Based Competitive Salary (DOE) Full Time | Permanent A growing construction contractor is looking to appoint an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join their team based on Hayling Island.This is not a traditional, siloed role where someone only estimates or only manages the commercial elements of a project. The business is looking for someone who wants to own the job from tender through to completion, working across multiple stages of the project lifecycle. You will be part of a collaborative team within a growing business where people are trusted to take responsibility, contribute across the project and support delivery from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Preparing and pricing tenders Reviewing drawings and project specifications Supporting the commercial management of projects once secured Producing valuations and managing variations Cost tracking and project financial reporting Supporting delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently Managing projects through to final account About You Experience working as an Estimator, Quantity Surveyor or in a similar commercial construction role Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail Comfortable working across both pre-construction and project delivery Able to take ownership and manage responsibilities independently Someone who enjoys being involved in the full project lifecycle rather than a single function This role would particularly suit someone who wants broader exposure across estimating, surveying and project delivery, or someone who feels restricted in a narrowly defined role.If you would like to find out more, please apply or contact us for a confidential discussion.
