HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Start Time: 07:30 AM
Pay Rate: £15.64 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
* Carry out RDC or brewery deliveries (curtain-side, no handball required)
* Operate and drive HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
* Ensure all cargo is loaded, secured, and unloaded safely
* Adhere to all road traffic laws and company policies
* Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers
* Report any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly
* Assist with loading and unloading as required
Essential Skills
* Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence
* Minimum of 12 months’ experience driving HGV Class 2 vehicles
* No more than 6 penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsements
* Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
* Good level of spoken and written English
* Excellent punctuality and timekeeping
* Strong understanding of traffic laws and driving regulations
* Effective communication and reliability
Desirable Experience
* Previous experience driving commercial vehicles
* Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Training
* Full support and on-site training provided throughout the assignment.
