Role Overview
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Early Years and Education Lecturer to join our busy and professional Health & Early Years team on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a full-time, 12‑month contract starting in September/October 2026, providing an opportunity to contribute to a well‑established and growing curriculum area across Early Years and Supporting Teaching and Learning.
Responsibilities
You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment to a range of learners, supporting them to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed for progression into industry or further study. You will contribute to planning, delivery and assessment, as well as supporting learners to achieve positive outcomes.
Qualifications
You will have relevant subject knowledge in Early Years and/or Education, alongside experience of teaching or training in a further education or similar setting. A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is essential, along with a commitment to continuous professional development and high standards.
