Overview
As a Bank Residential Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. You will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, including training, supervisions and delegating duties on shift. You will also support with the administering and ordering of medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessments, and liaising with GPs, district nursing teams and resident family members. Like everyone here, as a Residential Senior Carer, you'll always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents as well as playing your own part in creating an environment that's warm, welcoming and vibrant.

About you
The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care. You will have previous experience in a residential care setting along with proven team leadership skills and the ability to make appropriate decisions to support the needs and wellbeing of residents. As this is a Bank position to provide cover as and when needed (e.g., annual leave or sick leave), the hours and days you work will vary.
