This role will be based at Aurrigo's headquarters in Coventry, UK within the Advanced Engineering Centre where you will be working alongside like-minded engineers to develop, test and deploy machine learning and computer vision systems to improve the safety and reliability of Aurrigo's fleet. What you will do As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will: Develop state of the art computer vision solutions and work with members of the team to integrate these into existing vehicle and simulation codebases. Collect and prepare data for the purposes of training machine learning models. Write code in a clean and effective manner, with an eye to future scalability. Collaborate on roadmaps for developing new functionality which can be presented to the whole team. What we require from you Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence. Other STEM subjects considered with relevant industry experience. A strong understanding of Machine Learning frameworks e.g. PyTorch or Tensorflow. Computer Vision fundamentals: camera calibration, depth perception Strong Python & data analytics skills What we prefer from you History of working with object detection and pose estimation systems Experience with deploying ML models onto embedded devices Exposure to synthetic datasets Experience with any of the following: distributed training, cloud computing, remote monitoring, LibTorch C++ & Robot Operating System (ROS) An interest in aviation and autonomous overall What skills we are looking for Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to build self-contained modules and to troubleshoot issues Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and engage with interested parties and project stakeholders at demonstrations A collaborative work ethic to drive solutions alongside the rest of the Machine Learning Team.
