The Role
* Teaching Physics across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5
* Planning and delivering challenging, well-structured lessons that stretch and support high-achieving pupils
* Delivering practical lessons with a strong focus on accuracy, safety, and conceptual understanding
* Supporting pupils preparing for GCSE and A-Level examinations
* Contributing to enrichment activities such as STEM clubs, competitions, and academic extension
* Working collaboratively within a strong and well-established Science department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A degree in Physics or a closely related subject
* Experience teaching Physics at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 highly desirable)
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for academic excellence
* High expectations for pupil behaviour, engagement, and outcomes
* A calm, organised, and confident teaching approach
* Willingness to contribute to the wider academic life of a grammar school
