The company is engineering precisely targeted, controlled and highly active T cell therapies that are designed to better recognise cancer cells, break down their defense mechanisms and eliminate these cells.
Role Summary
We are seeking a Data Product Owner to support the buildout of our newly established data organization. This role will be responsible for overseeing and orchestrating cross-functional data initiatives across key pillars—Data Integration, Business Intelligence, Data Platform & Architecture, Master Data Management (MDM), and Data Governance. The ideal candidate will manage intake, prioritization, execution tracking, and communication for projects spanning these domains. This is a strategic role, ensuring alignment between data initiatives and business needs while facilitating coordination across technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and own the enterprise data product roadmap, including prioritization of incoming data, reporting, and integration demands.
* Coordinate cross‑functional data initiatives across Data Integration, Data Platform, BI, Architecture, MDM, and Governance teams.
* Manage intake, evaluation, and prioritization of requests from manufacturing, operational, commercial, finance, quality, and compliance stakeholders.
* Drive end‑to‑end delivery of major data initiatives.
* Enable integrated reporting solutions across operational, commercial, finance, and compliance functions.
* Reduce vendor costs by transitioning commercial and leadership reporting from external vendors to internal analytics platforms.
* Identify and eliminate manual data processes through automation and systems integration.
* Track milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and progress for all active data programs, ensuring transparency and proactive risk mitigation.
* Facilitate alignment and communication between business teams, IT PMO, data engineering, external vendors, and leadership.
* Support resource and capacity planning across the data function.
* Coordinate vendor deliverables, tool assessments, and contract timelines for data‑related platforms and solutions.
* Maintain program documentation, dashboards, reporting structures, and governance processes to ensure standardization and oversight.
* Support change management efforts and enable stakeholder adoption of new data platforms, tools, and processes.
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies

Experience
* 10+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in data management, analytics, or IT environments.
* Experience managing cross-functional data or technology initiatives in a regulated industry (biotech, pharma, or healthcare preferred).
* Proven track record of coordinating complex, multi-stream programs involving both internal teams and external vendors.
* Familiarity with data disciplines such as data integration, MDM, data governance, analytics, and data platforms.
* Experience working in an environment with high business engagement and fast-paced delivery expectations.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
* PMP or equivalent project/program management certification preferred.
* Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery methodology experience is a plus.
Skills/Specialist Knowledge
* Strong understanding of data management functions and tools (e.g., ETL, data lakes, BI tools, MDM platforms, data catalogs).
* Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
* High degree of initiative, ownership, and accountability.
* Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, Monday.com).
