The Opportunity
Our client is currently seeking three experienced Cost Engineers to join their growing team. This is an opportunity is supported by a skilled and experienced workforce of more than 4,500 employees, operating across 14 strategically located offices within key industrial centres. Together, they consistently maintain the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and quality in every aspect of their work.
The Role
As a Cost Engineer, you will be responsible for providing critical financial data for internal reporting, managing remeasurement and BOQ updates, forecasting costs against budgets, and conducting risk analysis. You will lead cost provisions, manage weekly cost ledger analysis, and oversee subcontractor management, including valuations and payment certifications. Your daily activities will include facilitating progress meetings, compiling data for main payment applications, and ensuring commercial audits are completed effectively.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in cost management on major construction projects, with a strong understanding of NEC 4 Option B Contracts.
Extensive knowledge of NAECI Agreements and standard measurement methods.
Expert skills in financial systems such as SAP and Power BI.
Strong bias towards contractor working and change management expertise.
