Kitchen Assistant Catering and Hospitality - Inglewood Nursing Home Contract: Part Time Salary: £12.71 Per Hour Shift Type: Dayshift Contracted hours: 21 Inglewood Nursing Home, located in a pleasant residential area of Eastbourne, provides short and long-term nursing and palliative care for up to 60 residents. Set in charming period-style accommodation with modern facilities, the home offers bright, comfortable rooms with garden views, wheelchair access, and a warm, supportive environment where personalised care and strong relationships with residents and families are prioritised. Kitchen Assistant £12.71 per hour Contracted to 21 hours per week Paid DBS, pension scheme & uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Role Overview As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard. You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times. This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
