The Medical Sales Specialist role is based in Northern Ireland and will involve supporting existing business in the territory with a focus on the Tristel and Helapet portfolio, which has excellent scope for growth selling these class leading products. The team works closely with our partner companies and HCP’s providing solutions in the Healthcare environment.
The purpose of this role is to effectively increase sales volume and revenue within the business unit year on year, whilst maintaining existing business through strong customer relations and clinical support.
This role would suit either a Nurse or Pharmacy Technician looking to step into an education / sales role, or an experienced Med Device sales rep, who is familiar with hospital sales processes in this area. This business unit makes a significant contribution to the overall company turnover.
Responsibilities
* Achieve Sales targets across the product portfolio.
* Identifying unmet needs
* Maintain existing business & grow the business through existing accounts and new business acquisition.
* Foster excellent relations with all customers and key decision makers and present a professional image of Brennan & Co.
* Provide reports, analysis, and territory planner to the Sales Manager.
* All administrative duties should be completed in a correct and timely fashion.
* Work entails daily interfacing with a variety of KOL’s within several hospital / community disciplines to include Hospital Pharmacy Teams, Doctors, all Nursing and Clinical staff, and Purchasing Personnel.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
* Degree level preferably in a scientific/medical or business-related discipline.
* Experience in hospital medical device, pharmacy or infection control sales (3 years minimum)
* Experience within cleanroom environments is desirable
* Clinical environment exposure is essential. The candidate should be familiar with workflows in Hospital departments.
* Experience working with infection control teams, procurement officers, nurses and clinicians.
* Displays strong sales skills
* Skilled in Business and opportunity Planning
* Strong Account and Territory Management skills required
* Full, clean driving license.
