This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly motivated and committed to the delivery of transformational change to join the Council’s Commissioning Access and Independence Team, incorporating the Home to School Travel Service.
As a School Organisation and Provision Project Officer, you will provide high quality business support across the Home to School Travel Service, as well as support the Commissioning Manager and Principal Commissioning Officer in the delivery of transformation projects. You will provide high level support for essential Home to School Travel Service projects and business functions, including data management. You will possess excellent communication and customer service skills with parents, carers, and other stakeholders.

The Opportunity
In the role of School Organisation and Provision Officer, here’s an example of what you’ll be doing to make an impact:
Under the direction of the Commissioning Manager:
• Provide high quality support, with opportunities to lead, in the delivery of transformation, innovation and budget expenditure programmes within the Home to School Travel Service
• Data management, including supporting the Commissioning Manager with producing customer data and budget reports. Support in the preparation of reports and presentations to relevant internal and external stakeholders, as required.
• Coordinate and support the compliant administration of home to school travel assistance
